Kirsten Wolfe has experience treating individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders as well as an array of mental health conditions and believes in treating individuals with a trauma-informed approach. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, Kirsten has training in the following evidence-based practices: Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Kirsten has experience working in acute inpatient psychiatric settings and addiction treatment facilities in the state of NM.
Kirsten obtained her undergraduate degree in Community and Regional Planning at The University of New Mexico and holds her master’s degree in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University. Kirsten has also completed 400 hours of clinical hypnotherapy training and is a Certified Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist. She has provided services for a variety of demographics and has utilized a diverse repertoire of treatment approaches w/ an emphasis on collaborative care and customized treatment planning. Kirsten offers warmth, patience and compassion with a team-oriented mentality in her approach to therapy.
