Lorraine Hausman, CCSS has over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Lorraine is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey to healing and recovery. She has been a certified W.R.A.P. facilitator and a co-facilitator for N.A.M.I. support groups. She has helped countless individuals navigate mental health challenges with dignity, understanding, and resilience. Lorraine believes in the power of unconditional acceptance, embracing each person as a unique and valuable individual. She is a strong advocate for diversity, ensuring that all backgrounds—culture, ethnicity, language, religion, race, gender, age, disability, diagnoses, life challenges, and sexual orientation—are honored and respected. Her approach is rooted in hope, empathy, compassion, kindness, and empowerment while fostering a supportive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and encouraged to embrace their strengths. Lorraine has an Associate’s Degree from Kingsborough Community College. Lorraine has a strong foundation to continue making a meaningful impact in mental health advocacy and support.
