What to Expect in the IOP Program
Most participants at Solutions attend the IOP (Intensive Outpatient) program. Solutions Treatment Center was created with the understanding that each individual who comes to us has his/her own history, life experiences, needs and goals. With that understanding, we’ll begin with a brief interview to help determine if we are the best program for you at this point in your recovery.
If we are not, we will help you find the best first step for you. Our staff members have a comprehensive knowledge of treatment resources around the country and will match you with the program that is best suited for your needs.
If it is determined that Intensive Outpatient is the right program for you, we will schedule a start date and time. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our intake and admissions staff and will participate in a comprehensive assessment in which we get to know you on a deeper level.
This assessment will allow us to create an individualized treatment plan for you. Once the assessment is complete, you will begin attending Intensive Outpatient Therapy, consisting of group counseling, educational lectures, process and experiential therapy, life coaching, recovery skill development, family therapy and other healing-oriented services.
Groups range in size from 6-8 members at a time. Everyone is working on his/her individual issues in a warm, supportive group environment led by highly experienced clinicians and teachers.
Our IOP program is structured so that your process of healing and recovery proceeds at an appropriate pace. If you need a little extra time to settle in and integrate, that is fine. If you need some additional support, that is available with any of our healing team members. The duration of Intensive Outpatient Therapy ranges from four (4) to seventeen (17) weeks, with extended care available.
We offer occasional day-long intensives for the Santa Fe community as well as our out-of-town guests. As a member of the Intensive Outpatient program, you and the members of your family are welcome to participate in these at a reduced fee.
